In 2014, I completed the Certificate IV in Photo Imaging, then in 2015 I completed the Diploma of Photo Imaging. These courses have taught me an incredible amount about photography, from the history of photography to how to utilise both natural and studio light to my best ability. It has provided me with experiences and knowledge that are indescribable, forcing me to push myself and my photography further than I could have imagined.

Newborn photography was unfamiliar territory for me until my siblings starting giving me beautiful nieces and nephews. Capturing their peaceful sleepiness in their first few weeks, to their hectic energy in their toddler years has been an amazing experience. It inspired me to pursue photography as a career.

Photography has always called to me. Throughout my schooling years photography was the medium chosen for all creative works, from my major work in Visual Arts, to representations of Julius Caesar in English. It was what I had always relied on, not because it was an easier option, but because I simply loved it! The ability to capture and manipulate what was in front of me has always kept photography exciting and interesting for me.
